Automation can equip either Torrington Swager and Vaill machines to produces up to 1500 parts per hour. Engineers can also automate your existing Torrington machines if you need to increase your production outpout. Various options are tailored to equip Torrington machines depending on parts and production rate equipment.

SEMI-AUTOMATIC FEEDERS
Semi-automatic feeders are an ideal solution for swaging equipment when production rate allows manual feed but the blanks have an odd diameter, length or weight. These powerfeed systems grip and advance the part into the forming tools.

COMPLETE AUTOMATION
Complete automation includes storage, feed and ejection mechanisms. Once the blanks are stacked in the magazine or hopper, an escapement mechanism is used to transfer the in line for loading into the forming position. Parts are then released and discharged. Other quality control or detection features are added on request.

MULTISTATION
Modular design and combination of forming and machining operations are the basic principles of of custom-designed fully automated production cells. All individual operations are done simultaneously, producing a finished part every machine cycle. Walking beams, conveyors and pick-and-place systems ensure quick transfer between operations and continuous feeding of working stations.
